Created by local residents, the Middlesex Family YMCA provides a welcoming place where people of all ages and walks of life gather to build a stronger community. All programs are designed to develop positive values, self-esteem, and an ethic of service.

Buzz Lambert

• What inspired you to become part of the YMCA community? My wife and I volunteered to help paint rooms in the Middlesex Family YMCA before opening its doors in 2004.  We met some incredibly compassionate, selfless, and community-driven volunteers, who, through their influence and integrity, sold Middlesex County on how the Y could be the epicenter of our community.  A year later, I was given the opportunity to execute the plan to make this vision a reality.

• What are some of your most significant accomplishments at the YMCA? I take great pride in the partnerships in my communities that improve the quality of life and ensure that health and wellness opportunities are available to all.

• What are your hobbies/interests outside of work? I enjoy exercising, playing golf with my sons and good friends, being on the water, and supporting my children’s athletic endeavors where ever they take us.
