Aquatic Strengthen & Stretch

A resistance training class that emphasizes muscular strength/endurance and conditioning of the muscles by using water barbells, ankle weights, noodles, kickboards, or floatation vests. Flexibility and stretching exercises are incorporated into the class for a full-body workout. This is a low-to-moderate intensity class.

Intensity Level: Low/Medium


Each YMCA location creates their own schedule of group exercise classes to offer and classes are rotated to keep workouts new and fresh so members stay engaged with their routines.
