Welcome to Greater West Point Family YMCA

The Greater West Point Family YMCA, in collaboration with the Town of West Point and the surrounding counties of New Kent, King William and King & Queen Counties, is dedicated to improving the quality of community life by providing safe, fun programs for area teens, youth, children and families. All programs are designed to build strong moral values, personal wellness and fellowship.

Samantha Prada

• What inspired you to become part of the YMCA community? I started working for the Y, not knowing that what I was joining was so much more than just a job. I met an extended family of people in the staff, members, and participants.
• What are some of your most significant accomplishments at the YMCA? I have worked for the YMCA for 16 years and am most proud of the teams I have been a part of. I also Chair our YMCA Professional Network Spring Conference for Y professionals across the state of Virginia and serve on the board.
• What are your hobbies/interests outside of work? Traveling, riding bikes with my family, and reading.
