YMCA Members,
We want to take a moment to remind you of a couple of our center policies and share an important update regarding using our locker rooms. Please take a look at the details below:
1. Practicing Modesty- While moving around the locker room or leaving the showers, please make sure to cover up in a way similar to how you would with a bathing suit.
2. Vaping/Smoking- Remember, all YMCA facilities and the surrounding areas are strictly smoke-free and vape-free zones.
3. Drug Usage- Refrain from being under the influence of, using, or possessing drugs or alcohol on YMCA property or in YMCA vehicles.
4. Locker Room Ages- Here’s a quick guide to who can use each type of locker room:
- Men's and Women's Locker Rooms
- Open to anyone aged 12 and above. Kids aged 6-11 are welcome when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian of the same gender. Children 5 and under must also be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- Youth Locker Rooms
- These are for children 11 and younger. A parent or legal guardian of the same gender should accompany kids 5 and under. Adults who are not accompanying children are not permitted in this locker room.
- Universal Locker Rooms (available in select centers)
- These are open to all ages. Children 11 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Thanks for being a part of our YMCA community. We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to keeping our environment welcoming and safe for everyone.
